His record label, Royal Fam Entertainment will be releasing his debut album in Best Buy and on iTunes in March 2012. You can download Trick’n on iTunes right now. Features off the album will include New Orleans talent Dee-1, Fiend of Curren$y’s Jet Life Recordings, G-Eazy, as well as a special feature with Young Money’s Lil Twist. Moe is supported by a team of future college graduates attending LSU, the University of Louisiana Lafayette, and Southern University and have been attacking their region productively. He continues to gain fans from all over the country and this certainly looks to continue with the upcoming release of his next single “Flyy”. Be sure to follow Lil Moe on Twitter @lilmoemusic so you can be the first to catch the release of his new video!

Q: What challenges do your face as an indie artist?

A: One challenge I face as an indie artist, is funding. Everything in the music business has associated costs behind it. Weather that means traveling cost, recoding time, or manufacturing and distributing my self titled, debut album (which is set for release on March 13, 2012).

Q: What is the inspiration behind your most recent album?

A: The inspiration behind my album, is fun. I’m a blessed lil dude, so I’d like to promote that positive vibe, to help uplift those who may be going through tough times. And to give those kids in college, like me, some music to party to.

Q: How did you come up with the performance name?

A: My name came natural I guess, since my dad and I share a name. I’ve always been Lil Moe. (laughs)

Q: If you had to choose to work with anyone in the music industry, who may that be?

A: I’d like to work with 50 Cent. He’s a great song writer as well as an extraordinary and brilliant business man.

Through persistence and determination, Jump Outt Records ultimately produced a momentous buzz that put the label in motion, by aggressively building relationships with other local independent artists and DJ’s through out Miami. Some of whom would later become part of the label’s “movement”. Unfortunately with in that same year, Pimp White was arrested and sentenced to 7 1/2 years for undisclosed charge’s resulting in a hold being placed on the label’s transition into a dominant force in the music industry. Now, with a new list of independent artists, Killa A, Chief, Jack-D, Black Dynasty, Chris, KrazyKlick, Playet, Bubble Eye Boyz, producers, and promoters. Jump Outt Records has a prevailing presence with in the streets, clubs, internet, major record labels and industry insiders all asking one question “Who is Jump Outt Records?”

Q: What is the inspiration behind your most recent album ?

A: The creativity, effort, and time that both I and my artists put into making the Jump Outt Records MixTape Volume I alone were my inspiration. Not to mention my love for music…

Q: What type of message do you speak through your music?

A: We speak from a growing up not a fortunate as others aspect mentioning both the good and bad times we spent in the ghetto making the best out of like I said good and fucked up situations ya-feel me..

Q: When you not in the recording studio or performing, what are your hobbies and/or interest?

A: Lol, my life outside of the studio is pretty much the same as others. I mean, I’m a family man first. I get down on the grill, chill, get on a little oil every so often, and just kick the bo-bo with the very few friends that I do have. But I ain’t gonna lie my main interest is in music, straight up…

Q: What challenges do your face as an indie artist ?

A: I mean, pretty much the same as any local artist trying to break in the rap game, recognition. With out it you can’t sell records, book shows, nothing. You are a complete nobody with out it. That’s why we in these streets heavy promoting. By the way, Jump Outt Records Mixtape Volume I dropping Dec.6, ya’ll go copp that straight from the Jump Outt Records web-site www.jumpouttrecords.com.
